Passing the ASA background check is required for ANY adult who will be on the field or in the dugout with the girls!

Game times= 55 minutes for (6U); 60 minutes (8U); and 75 minutes(10U+) finish the inning means that .......If the game is in the 3rd inning or less AND the home team CANNOT catch up due to being behind by more than 6 runs, when time expires then the game is over! No more batting by the home team! If they can't catch up, it's wasting time to keep batting. If they've made it to the 4th inning or beyond then we/they will finish the inning by allowing the home team their at bat. In addition, the run rule is in effect as well.

ASA mercy rules are as follows:
15 runs after 3 innings
10 runs after 5 innings.
This is an ASA rule and HGSA is following it.

2012 1st Place Tie-Breaker
In the event of a tie game after regulation, ITB rule will apply for a maximum of one (1) inning during the regular season. If teams are still tied after ITB, the game will go down in the books as a tie. ITB will be utilized for all divisions of play.

If at the end of the season two teams are tied for first place in any division, there will be a playoff game only after all other means to break the tie have been utilized. The playoff will be scheduled as soon as possible after the conclusion of the season.
